Neighborhood LE MARAIS
With its narrow alleys and its mansions, the Swamp is one of districts of Bets which knew how to preserve in the course of time a picturesque charm. This place counts famous monuments in particular the Carnavalet museum, dedicated to the history of Paris since the Prehistory until our days and the Picasso museum. Place of Vosges, inaugurated in 1612, is Victor Hugo's house where this last one wrote its biggest dramas, Marie Tudor and Ruy Blas among others.
Le Marais is also a place connected with its numerous bars, restaurants and original shops. A very full of life district including the weekend.
