How do I reserve an apartment in Paris?
Use the search engine to choose your dates, the number of people staying and the category of apartment that you require. Once this is filled in a list of available apartments appears with a brief description and the total price of your stay. You can then click “discover” to reveal a detailed description of the apartment. Once you have chosen your apartment, click on "reserve". You are then asked to fill in your details. The recap of your Paris apartment reservation and your bill then appears. To validate your choice, you must pay an initial deposit of 35% of the total amount of your stay, via paypal. It is also possible to pay by bank transfer (contact us directly).
Once your deposit has been paid, you will receive confirmation of your reservation by email. We will send you your rental contract by email. You will need to send us back a signed copy of this, along with a photocopy of your passport by post or fax.
This constitutes your definitive confirmation. If you do not send these papers back at least 10 days before the start of your rental, the reservation will be cancelled.

Holiday tax.
In accordance with French law, any person residing in an apartment must pay a holiday tax. Our apartments are on a scale of 2 to 4 stars and the holiday tax is calculated on this scale. This classification depends on the location, quality and size of the apartment.
The prices are as follows:
- for a studio: 0,78 Euro per day and per person.
- for a 2 roomed apartment: 1 Euro par per day and per person.
- for a 3 roomed apartment +: 1,20 Euro par per day and per person.
How do I pay?
A deposit of 35% of the total price must be paid via paypal (procedure set up on our site) or by bank transfer (contact us for more details) when the reservation is made. The balance is to be paid at check in, in cash, travellers cheques or French bank cheque.
What methods of payment do you accept?
You can pay by:
- Credit card (Visa or MasterCard) via paypal,
- Bank transfer,
- French bank cheque,
- Cash,
- Travellers cheque.
Security deposit
On arrival in the apartment, and after the check in inventory, you will be asked for a deposit in cash, French bank cheque or travellers cheques. This deposit will be refunded when you check out.
How is the security deposit refunded?
After the apartment has been checked (check out) by a representative of 46cityrent, your deposit will be refunded.
A deduction will be made from the deposit if any damage has been caused to the apartment or its contents.
Is there a minimum stay?
The minimum stay is three nights.
There is no maximum stay. You can rent an apartment for as long as you like.
For stays over one week, 46cityrent uses a nightly pro-rata rate.
Can I extend my stay?
Yes, it is possible to extend your stay. However, an extension can not be guaranteed if you do not request it. An extension may not necessarily be guaranteed in the same apartment if there’s a previous booking after your check out date. We can however book you into another apartment in the same category.
When can I arrive?
You are free to arrive any day of the week between 9am and 8pm. A 46cityrent representative will be on hand to welcome you, check you in and hand over the keys. If you arrive outside these hours, a supplement of 50 euros will be required.
You must inform 46cityrent, at least a week in advance, of your precise date and time of arrival.
Airport transfer.
We can organize an airport shuttle for you: for your arrival (from the airport to the apartment) and for your departure (from the apartment to the airport).

Check in, Check out.
You must inform us of your arrival time at the apartment, at least one week before you arrive. We will then provide you with the contact details of our representative who will do your check in. You must contact the 46cityrent representative on arrival at the airport or train station.
You must give your check out time to the 46cityrent representative during check in.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation within 15 days before arrival date, the renter has to pay the full amount due.
Cancellation over 15 days before arrival date, the 35% deposit is withheld.
Internet.
All of our apartments have a high-speed internet connection.
Are animals accepted?
We are sorry to inform you that animals are not accepted in our apartments, unless an agreement is made with 46cityrent.
How much are the agency fees?
The indicated price on your contract includes all agency fees.
Is housekeeping included?
The apartment is cleaned prior to your arrival. During your stay, we request that you keep the apartment tidy. We can provide a cleaner, on request, for a supplementary fee (30 Euros/hour. VAT included).
Is a laundry service included?
46cityrent proposes a home laundry service. Please contact us to set this up.
Is it possible to change apartments?
Please note that if necessary, or in an emergency, the agency reserves the right to change the apartment you have reserved for an apartment in the same category, or higher. If you wish to change apartments during your stay, we will bill you for this change.
Baby-sitting?
46cityrent can provide a baby-sitting service, for an extra fee.
